The Bioprocessing Separations Consortium interacts with an external Advisory Board consisting of industry, government, and academic representatives who help the Consortium maintain an industry-relevant focus and knowledge of recent technology advances and challenges.
The Advisory Board meets with the Steering Committee and team leads quarterly, twice a year in person, to:
- Review results and progress relative to work plans
- Prioritize research projects
- Inform development of Consortium strategy for out-years
The U.S. Department of Energy, Bioenergy Technologies Office provides ultimate oversight and funding, together with go/no-go project decisions and other standard oversight functions.
